Description

A mahogany open bookcase, featuring adjustable shelves on vertical groove supports, allowing the shelf heights to be altered as required. The bookcase has a simple, well-proportioned design with stepped plinth base. The mahogany shows a warm tone with attractive grain. A lovely example.

CONDITION REPORT:

In antique condition overall. There is general fading to the finish, along with marks and scratches throughout, consistent with age and use. The plinth shows staining, and there is evidence of historic woodworm to the plinth, which is long gone and treated as a precaution.
