The rounded shape and snug-fitting lid make it an excellent example of functional artistry, perfect for display or gentle use.

This jar features small raised white knobs on its surface - an intentional decorative technique used to add texture and dimension to the design. These applied slip dots were carefully hand-formed before glazing and are often found on traditional blue and white wares. Far from being flaws, these details reflect the artistry and symbolic richness of Qing-era porcelain decoration.

Originally used for storing tea, herbs, or spices, this piece is well-suited for modern use as a trinket box, spice jar, or simply as decorative porcelain.
