A fine and elegant set of six Regency dining chairs beautifully crafted in mahogany and richly carved throughout. The shaped top rails feature bold rope-twist carving centred with a finely carved fan motif. The mid-rails are decorated with sunburst roundels and reeded detailing, all characteristic of high-quality Regency workmanship.Each chair stands on well-shaped sabre legs with carved knees and delicately carved toes giving the set a refined, classical silhouette. The original cane seats survive in good order and the chairs come with newly upholstered drop-in seat pads for added comfort when desired.
