Elliott Ltd, based in Croydon, London, played a significant role in the British war effort during World War II, producing specialized clocks for the military, particularly the Royal Air Force along with aircraft parts.

The case inner has an original label marked ‘KENLEY FOR BUILDING 16’. Kenley aerodrome was one of the 3 vital WW2 bomber fighter stations.
They were crucial during the Battle of Britain.
