Ritas Bazaar has dated these Royal Worcester Porcelain Figurines to the Victorian era.

Hadley’s revolutionary modelling approach in the 1860s introduced natural motion and emotional presence into porcelain sculpture. The dramatic fabric folds and balanced composition of this pair are classic features of this artistic period.

Finished in an exceptionally rare pastel pink and rich green colour scheme, these figures represent a short-lived decorative experiment seldom found today. Gilt-rimmed marbled bases indicate superior decorative quality.

Early impressed Worcester factory marks without letter codes place production firmly within the earlier phase of Hadley’s work.
Highly expressive Hadley modelling combined with this unusually bold pastel colour scheme makes this pair considerably rarer and more collectible.
