The stone is claw set in yellow gold, and flanked by a pair of beautifully matched old European cut diamonds set in platinum (each weighing approximately 0.80 carat), leading to a slender 18k yellow gold shank that tapers at the shoulders.

Accompanied by a sapphire report from GIA stating the sapphire shows no evidence of heating.
Cut: Cushion cut sapphire and old European cut diamonds.
Colour: The diamonds are K.
Clarity: The sapphire is loupe clean. The diamonds are VS1.

Carat: The sapphire is 2.05 carat. Each diamond is approximately 0.80 carat (1.60 carat total).
Circa: 1950.
Size: M 1/2 (UK) or 6 1/4 (US). Free sizing available.
Measurements: From the outer edge of one diamond to the other is 20.5mm. The ring is 7.9mm at the widest point and sits 5.4mm from the finger.
