A Fabulous Bohemian Silver & Overlay Glass Scent Bottle

A fabulous Victorian silver mounted scent bottle, in the Bohemian taste. This unusual and eye catching design has a blue glass body of cylindrical form. It is overlaid in white glass and cut back to reveal the blue, with added gilded detailing. Each panel is exquisitely hand painted with roses and leaves. The silver lid is hinged and engraved with acanthus leaves. Inside there is a fitted glass peg stopper. A lovely and superior collector's item, with a practical use. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no chips or cracks to the glass. The silver has no splits, holes or dents, just a tiny dimple to the collar commensurate with age and use.

Hallmarks :- Unmarked but tests as silver (not unusual for small silver scent bottle tops).
