This stunning antique pendant depicts a floral bouquet, decorated with Paste stones, modelled in Sterling Silver. The pendant hangs from a pretty fine curb-link chain, finished with a fancy hook fastener.
From the late 17th century onwards, the Italian word ''Giardinetti'' was applied to describe articles of jewellery with an intricate, openwork floral motif, consisting of gems set in designs resembling flowers, which were often arranged in vases or baskets.
Paste is a special type of hand-cut glass which has been used since the 18th century to replicate Gemstones.
This wonderful quality piece looks fabulous when worn and would make a great addition to any collection.
