Cornelius Pearson was a landscape and topographical painter and also an engraver.He was born in Boston,Lincolnshire and went to London at an early age,whereupon he apprenticed to an engraver. He then went on to paint mainly in watercolour.Pearson exhibited 1;5 works at Suffolk Street between 1845 and 1872 ,4 at the Royal Academy and also at the New Watercolour Society and elsewhere .He was one of the oldest members of the Langham Sketching Club.Two of his views of Wales are in the Victoria andAlbert Museum . Thomas Francis Wainwright was a landscape artist who lived in London.He was a prolific artist who exhibited over 200 works at Suffolk Street.
