An exceptional brass and cut glass hall lantern of large proportions, c.1910. Complete with period rise and fall pully bracket (detachable).The swept arms terminate in fine spirals above a brass lantern frame with an intricate art-nouveau design to the top edge. The thick bevelled glass panels each boast finely cut stars which glisten when illuminated. The panel door is opened with a classical ''scroll in hand'' finialThere is some light wear commensurate with age as is to be expected, namely some light scratches to the glass in areas and a very small nibble to the circular cut out edge in the bottom panel.
