A small mid-Victorian engraved easel clock in the manner of Thomas Cole.
The thirty-hour movement has a lever escapement whilst the silvered oval dial has engraved engine-turned decoration, gold moon hands, black Roman numerals and a subsidiary seconds dial at VI o''clock.
The oval easel clock has Cole-style engraving with decorative work to the edge and engraved to the rear Howell & James & Co., To the Queen, Paris & London. The easel numbered 166.
