Beautiful unrestored antique ladies travel box which combines vanity pots, sewing compartments and jewellery storage. The perfect travelling companion.The box has a mother of Pearl inlay to the lid which is echoed in the key escutcheon.Internally the box is lined with red velvet and has a lift out tray with large void beneath and is fitted with various silver plate topped vanity pots along with further compartments with velvet lined lids. (One lid missing) The lid of the box has a tooled velvet panel which conceals a hidden document folder. The box has a �secret� drawer for jewellery storage which pops open when the brass pin inside the box is removed.Condition.The wood is in good condition and there are no losses to the veneer.
