Vintage 1.36 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, Circa 1950

1940 - 1960
Description

A divine Mid Century diamond engagement ring. The old European cut in the centre - graded by IGI as G colour, SI1 clarity - is utterly glowing. The stone is secured in a six claw platinum collet and is flanked by a pair of icy white baguette cuts in the raised shoulders, leading to a slim 18k white gold shank.

Accompanied by a diamond report from IGI.

Cut: Old European cut in the centre, with baguette cut diamonds in the shoulders.

Colour: G. The shoulders are F to G.

Clarity: SI1. The shoulders are VS1.

Carat: The diamond in the centre is 1.36, with each baguette weighting approximately 0.10 carat.

Circa: 1950.

Size: M (UK) or 6 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements: The diamond is 7.27 x 7.34mm and sits 6.3mm from the finger.

Weight: 2.98 grams.

Metal: Stamped 18CT & PLAT - indicating 18k white gold and platinum - and tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer to confirm.
