Description

A wonderfully handsome (and useful) footed comport in silver plate dating to the late Victorian era. Perfect for Fruit, cakes, biscuits or chocolates, the highly decorative dish is decorated with pierced and embossed panels.

The underside of the foot is marked G T (S) & Co. and EPNS for the silversmith, George Travis / Sheffield and Electro-Plated-Nickel-Silver.

The dish diameter measures 11" in diameter and stands 6 3/4" tall. Excellent condition.
