Ritas Bazaar has dated this Paris Porcelain Figurines Pair to the 19th Century.
Finished in polychrome porcelain with restrained gilding and a bisque-like matt surface, each figure is mounted on a naturalistic base and a separate black plinth with gilt ornament. The impressed “L & M” marks are present to the bases.

The scale and finish give the pair a clear decorative impact. Such pieces were intended for prominent display in 19th-century interiors.
