A rare good sized English Victorian antique solid sterling silver combination jewellery and pin cushion (for hat and stick pins etc...). It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1895 with the maker being Henry Matthews. It has been superbly designed being in a love heart form. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, professionally relined and covered. It measures approx. 4 inches (10.2cm) across by 4.75 inches (12cm) front to back by 2 inches (5cm) tall and weighs 152 grams. A very high quality example.
