An Antique Muffineer - Levi Collection Label

This is a  late 1700s/ early 1800s  sycamore muffineer or spice caster from the Levi collection.. These were used for sprinkling sugar or spice onto hot buttered toast, muffins etc.
 
This example made from sycamore wood with a lovely nutty colour. The muffineer has an urn shaped body with a screw top lid and still retains its finial. On the underside of the base is an old collection label from A J Levi, author of  Treen for the Table, where there are similar examples illustrated.
 
It measures 15cm h x 6cm w at the widest part.
