A beautifully romantic amethyst, pearl and diamond cluster ring dating to the 1950s, designed in the Victorian revival style that became so popular in the mid-century period.
At the centre sits a luminous round amethyst of deep regal purple, collet set with fine millegrain detail. Surrounding the amethyst is a pretty floral halo of alternating charming old-cut diamonds and creamy split pearls, creating a soft and balanced contrast of sparkle and lustre.
Crafted in 18ct yellow gold, the stones are set within a finely scalloped gold surround, with elegant split shoulders that add lightness and refinement to the design.
