A Chinese Export Brass Mounted Camphor Wood Chest - C.1870
 
A very smart and quite large Chinese export camphor wood chest, with double locks and of lovely warm colour.
 
These make excellent coffee tables end of bed blanket chests.
 
The camphor wood gives off a lovely natural aroma and has anti moth qualities.
 
Condition:
 
In great condition with no real issues except a couple of missing corner mounts which are barely noticeable
