Ritas Bazaar has dated this Derby Porcelain Cabinet Bowl to the Georgian era.

Two oval painted scenes titled “Near Wirksworth, Derbyshire” and “Near Florence” are set within the cartouches, reflecting the popularity of Grand Tour imagery among educated collectors at the end of the 18th century.

The interior remains plain white, with a gilt geometric border to the rim. The underside bears a factory mark used by Derby in this period, and the titles are written in a contemporary calligraphic hand.
