An antique French tilting wine-tasting table from c1860

Its circular top, marked by a timeworn patina, pivots to a vertical position for compact storage.

The table is supported by a robust wooden frame with a central stretcher and two wide trestle-style feet. The mechanism includes a triangular support brace, ensuring stability. Originally used for wine tasting in French cellars, this table carries both functional design and rich historical character.

It is made of chestnut and pine and carries traces of old woodworm and wear appropriate to its age with a beautiful patina
