Antique Late Georgian Satin Birch Chest of Drawers C.1810

Description

A particularly fine and original late Georgian chest of drawers in satin birch. The moulded edge top sits above two short drawers and three long graduated drawers, fitted throughout with original brass swan-neck handles and working locks.

A high-quality domestic chest intended for bedroom storage, with a generous depth and excellent drawer capacity. Well suited to a principal bedroom, dressing room or as a hall chest where deeper storage is required.

Very good antique condition with some minor wear and patina consistent with age. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place. Supplied with one original working key.
