Description

A large sterling silver antique locket with a really lovely repoussé pattern of organic floral shapes to the front. The inside contains a removable frame and acetate on one side so you can easily insert your own picture. The locket comes ready to wear on a long solid silver vintage chain.

SIZE: Approximately 4.6 x 3.7cm not including the bail, 6cm total drop. The chain is approx 24.0g long.

WEIGHT: 24.0g.

MATERIALS: 925 sterling silver (tested).

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: None.

CONDITION: The locket is in very good antique condition with the clasp and hinge in good working order. The back has some minor denting and there is some blackening inside the lid, see photos.

ERA: Victorian (c.1880s).
