A solid Victorian pine blanket box or trunk with a simple, well-proportioned form and a hinged lid opening to a generous interior. Constructed in pine, with a plain rectangular body raised on a shaped plinth base. The lid opens to reveal a spacious storage compartment. Of wide proportions, this piece would be a good fit at the foot of a double bed and would also work well as a blanket box, or as a coffee table. The trunk has a lock, but no key is present.
