A late Victorian carved oak side chair of strong, upright proportion. The high back is centred by a deeply carved foliate panel beneath a shaped crest rail with a carved Green Man mask, all above a rush seat and a stretchered base with turned front legs.Very good antique condition with some surface wear consistent with age. The rush seat is in good order and remains firm and stable.
