Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Produced between 1830 and 1837, William IV silver bridges the late Regency and early Victorian eras, often featuring bold gadrooned borders, classical oval proportions, and heavy gauge sterling construction.

These platters were hand-forged from solid sterling silver, worked into shape, and finished with cast or applied decorative rims, often bearing custom heraldic engravings along the border.

Authentic pieces carry British hallmark stamps denoting the maker mark, town mark such as the London leopard head, purity mark, date letter, and sovereign duty mark.

An antique silver meat dish functions as a refined centrepiece on a dining table or sideboard, serving as a base for decanters, glassware, or decorative arrangements.

Clean gently with a specialised silver polish and a soft microfibre cloth, washing off residue with warm water and mild soap while avoiding abrasive pads or dishwasher cleaning.
