Large Antique Overmantel Mirror dating from 1880.

This fine example retains it's original water/oil gilding which offers an attractive overall appearance, a nice mellow feel to the gold leaf.

Original mirror plate with only very light foxing and a couple of minor historic scratches, nothing to warrant a replacement plate.

Original backing boards are intact.

Sizes 131.5 am tall. Max width at base 131cm. Main frame width 110cm.
