This FINE PAIR OF REGENCY BRASS CASSOLETTES date from circa 1820.

CASSOLETTES were designed to have both a decorative and practical appeal. They can be displayed as a Pair of Classical Urns or, when the covers are turned over, used as a Pair of Candle Holders.

They have fine detail and are beautifully made.
