A fine example of a mid 18thc copper ''tavern'' or ''coffee house'' coffee-pot , it has an attractive shaped spout , turned fruitwood side handle and an original shaped button finial on the flat lid....it is always pleasing to see the ''castellated '' seam which joins the body and the seam which joins the rolled copper spout... it has an excellent colour and is in fine original condition.
English. C1750-70.
