A very fine and well proportioned antique parcel gilt overmantel / wall mirror dating from 1860.

Very good quality, genuine gold leaf water-gilding, with recessed patera decoration, evenly spaced against the off white paintwork, producing an impressive look.

Complete with it's original mercury silvered mirror plate which has the most amazing overall sparkle to the silvering, very atmospheric.

Original backing panel and hanging plates.

Sizes 186 cm tall x 145 cm wide.
