A French 18 karat (18K) yellow gold pendant designed as a witch's heart set with a citrine weighing approximately 7 carats. Witch's hearts are supposed to grant protection against ill-meaning spirits and witches. Stamped with the eagle's head for 18 karat gold and French manufacture and a partial maker's mark.

Dimensions: 2 x 1.5 x 0.62 cm (not including jump ring)

Weight: 3.22 grams

Condition: Some conchoidal fractures and nibbling to the edges of the citrine, light abrasions consistent with the age of the piece.
