Millys Marvels has dated this Art Deco Sapphire Ring to the 1920s.
At its centre sits a vivid round mixed-cut sapphire of approximately 0.40 carats, displaying a saturated royal-blue hue with impressive depth. There is a small surface crack at the edge of the sapphire.
The Sapphire is framed by two bright old European-cut diamonds, totalling approximately 0.30 carats, each nestled into platinum bezels. The cool brilliance of the diamonds contrasts beautifully with the inky blue sapphire, while the 18ct yellow gold band adds a soft, buttery warmth. An exceptional piece of Art Deco history.
