Description

A pair of antique bronze double door handles dating to c1930 or earlier. This style was made from late 19thC onwards to adorn the many pairs of double doors in private homes, halls, banks, chapels, theatres and so on. They are a true classic with outward curves at base and top, a gently widening shaft fitting the palm of the hand, and a restrained but visually pleasing chamfered design. In excellent condition with a good antiqued bronze colour.
