Description

A late Victorian brass and iron double antique bed with curved brass top rails, spherical brass knobs, and brass decoration in head and foot boards finished in traditional black. The decorative castings have highlights of faded gold lining, whereas the brass has a golden patina and is still coated with lacquer, protecting from further aging. The bed retains its original castors, but these can be removed if preferred.

This bed accepts a double size 4ft 6in wide (54 inch or 135cm) base and mattress.

You will need a bed base to support the mattress. Bed bases sit on the bedstead frame and can be either Firm or Sprung and come in different depths with a choice of covers.

A BED BASE IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THIS BED.

The price is for the bed frame and a firm bed base.

A sprung base, mattress, bedding and linen are extra and can be supplied by ourselves
