A Very Large Country House Oval Gilt Mirror - C.1880

A very large and impressive country house water gilded gesso oval mirror, dating to the late 19th century - the frame edges decorated in relief with a repeating pattern of stylised leaves, retaining its original distressed glass plate which gives a good bright reflection with heaps of character.
 
There are four mounting plates to the back and it can be hung portrait or landscape.
 
Condition:
 
In overall good condition, with various imperfections, old hairline cracks and restorations to gilding. Ready to go.
