Castleforge Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 1850s.
The doors to both ends have a long moulded panel and a key. To each end under the cornice is a carved corbal. Inside on the right is a hanging rail with two removable shelves under of which is two drawers. Behind the left and centre door is a hanging rail. The base has a long deep drawer with original brass knobs with a moulded edge to the drawer fronts. To each end of the base is a small moulded panel and it stands on a plinth base. The wardrobe separates into six pieces for ease of movement.
