1920s Diamond Solitaire Ring in 18ct Gold and Platinum

A beautiful and refined antique diamond solitaire ring dating to the 1920s, crafted in rich 18ct yellow gold with platinum detailing and set with a single brilliant-cut diamond in a finely raised crown collet.

The platinum illusion setting enhances the brilliance of the diamond, giving the appearance of a significantly larger stone — a much-loved and clever design feature of the early 20th century.
