A Large 19th Century Mantle Clock.

Description

A large 19th century french mantle clock made from slate, brass and bronze. The casement is in the form of a castellated and turretted chateau in the late gothic revival manner. The clock is generally in good condition, it does require some minor restoration and is in need of a service, the clock face door needs some attention to the hinge, and the barrel case that holds the face in place has some play. There is no key present however the clock does tick over, the pendulum and bell are present and there is a small chip to the back right hand side of the slate casement.
