Description

A fine set of six regency dining chairs crafted in mahogany. Each chair features a softly reeded crest rail and a shaped horizontal tie rail flanked by reeded uprights, over traditionally upholstered seats, all raised on attractively turned front legs.

Equally well suited to formal dining rooms and more relaxed period interiors. As a group they form an elegant dining set, but they are also well suited as side chairs in a hall, study or bedroom.

Very good antique condition with only some light surface wear consistent with age. Structurally all solid with no movement. The later upholstery is clean and serviceable, showing some light marks consistent with use. Clean and ready to place in the home.

English, circa 1820.
