George V Silver Photo Frame Birmingham 1919

Description

A good quality George V era silver photo frame with clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1918 and maker’s mark for E Mander & Son. The front and sides of this elegant frame are made of plain smooth silver, as are the swivel keepers and corner panels which hold the easel back in place. The depth of the silver front is 1.5cm. The back is made of oak, with chamfered edges to ensure the back doesn’t protrude beyond the frame, a nice touch of detail and quality. It’s in excellent condition.
