Quiet Street Antiques of Bath has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The many drops give this example an impressive appearance.
Each of the six smaller sconces, that support the electric lamps, has 12 drops each. There are a further 4 glass swirls. The upper tier has six glass swirls, each with a glass ring and doplet. The electrical connection at the top is hidden behind a further glass ‘bowl’.
The chandelier has a central metal column with glass sleeves and is currently wired for electricity (which will need to be checked by a qualified electrician before use).
