Crafted from well-figured, dense solid mahogany, the oblong top has rounded corners, a crisp moulded edge, and excellent colour and patination. The table extends on robust telescopic bearer stretchers and retains its original leaf, allowing it to function either as a compact four-seater or a generous six-seater — an ideal solution for both everyday use and smaller dining spaces.The leaves are secured with Cope & Collinson stamped brass fork clips — premium fittings of the period and a strong indicator of the table’s superior quality.
