Description

Most elegant Dutch late 18th century mahogany torchere with square shaped cornered top raised on slender finely turned and reeded column onto out-swept tripod legs with carved bell flowers to tops and with block ties with carved patera. All in fine un-touched original condition with no breaks or repairs. great rich colour with lovely waxed patina. Top very slightly twisted. Genuine 18th century ones of these not often seen. FRESH ON MARKET STRAIGHT FROM SCOTTISH MANSION HOUSE.
