Dutch Empire Mahogany Gueridon Circa 1815

19th century
Description

Fine quality figured mahogany Empire gueridon table with oval top. fitted with drawer and on lyre shaped support with brass rods on shaped platform base with short shaped feet. Probably Dutch or German. All in fine condition with a couple of minor veneer repairs to bottom edge of top. The oak lined frieze drawer with great cast brass handles. Lovely rich colour with fine waxed patina. FRESH ON MARKET STRAIGHT FROM SCOTTISH MANSION HOUSE.
