Upholstered Stool - Carved Giltwood - c1900

This excellent late Victorian giltwood stool in the manner of George l is in good order and pleasingly presented with soft velvet textile.

The cabriole legs feature exquisite carved detail throughout and stylised dolphin mask feet complement the very attractive sweep of the leg.

The seat has been recently professionally traditionally re-upholstered with a classic quality velvet textile.

The heavily carved frame is robust and in good order. The condition and shape make this a rare find.

Overall a superb stool, well presented, offering a great mix of style and fun. A piece of furniture which will delight for years to come.
