Victorian Silver Spider Brooch

Description

A lovely little three-dimensional Victorian spider brooch in solid silver with stamped detailing all over. We've seen a few of these spiders over the years but never one with an enamel spot on its abdomen like this, it's possible it may be a later addition.

SIZE: Approximately 2 x 3cm x 1.3cm tall.

WEIGHT: 6.8g.

MATERIALS: Silver.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: None.

CONDITION: The brooch is in very good antique condition, with some tarnish.

ERA: Victorian (c.1837-1901).
