Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Staffordshire pottery figures are earthenware ceramic ornaments manufactured in Staffordshire, England, primarily during the 18th and 19th centuries, depicting historical, military, biblical, or theatrical figures.

These figures were typically press-moulded from earthenware clay, fired, and hand-painted over or under a lead glaze, featuring a flat unpainted reverse designed to rest flush against a chimney breast or mantelpiece.

Authentic Victorian pieces feature press-moulding seam lines, small air vent holes, soft lead glazing showing signs of age or craze lines, and hand-painted enamel details rather than crisp modern transfer prints.

Group them together on a living room mantelpiece, arrange them within curated bookshelf vignettes, or pair them with dark wood surfaces to accent modern heritage or eclectic decor styles.

Dust gently using a soft, dry natural-bristle brush, avoiding harsh chemical cleaners or soaking in water, which can damage original overglaze enamel paint and seep into porous earthenware body cracks.
