Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

A Victorian parcel gilt goblet is a 19th-century sterling silver drinking vessel where specific areas, such as the rim, decorative borders, or interior bowl, are selectively coated with a thin layer of gold leaf or gilt finish.

These goblets were primarily wrought from solid sterling silver (925 purity) and frequently enhanced using mercury gilding or electro-gilding techniques to apply gold accents to selected decorative features.

Authentic British silver goblets carry a full set of official assay office hallmarks, including the sterling lion passant, a makers mark, a town mark, a date letter, and the duty mark of Queen Victoria.

An antique silver goblet can be displayed as a decorative accent on a dining room sideboard, within a glazed bookcase, or positioned on a bar cart to introduce metallic texture to modern decor.

Gently clean the surface using a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth and specialized silver polish, avoiding harsh scrubbing on gilt areas to prevent wear to the thin gold layer.
