The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement, signed Pilot, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for Birmingham 1925, with a case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison, a prolific Birmingham based case maker and supplier to various watch makers.
The glass lens is in lovely condition.
The dial is signed with the name of the original retailer, Edmonds of Thornbury. The dial is in lovely condition.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
