This is a elegant antique continental Neo-classical silver pommel ladies walking cane, bearing a European hallmark, Circa 1870 in date.
The striking stick features superb trailing ribbons, swags and floral motifs on a gently tapering ebonized wooden shaft, the top is elegantly engraved with the bearer''s initials ''NM''. The cane is fitted with its original brass ferrule and a tassel.
